Long vowels are used to refer to the vowel sounds whose pronunciation is the same as its letter name. These long vowel sounds are also called ‘alphabet sounds.’ I am sharing a ‘long vowels worksheet’ pack which is ideal for kindergarten and first grade. This pack contains five long vowel worksheets.
The long vowel a – ‘ai’ and ‘ay’ makes the alphabet sound ‘a.’ In the long vowel a worksheet above, the ai and ay sound is missing. Write the correct sound to complete the word.
