After completing the first three groups, we can begin to teach blending and CVC words.
The first group is ‘satpin.’ Identify the pictures and match them to their beginning sounds. There are 6 pictures on the left that begin with s a t p i n. In the center, we have bubble letters satpin. To the right, we have 6 pictures that begin with s a t p i n.
These worksheets can be confusing for our little preschoolers since there are pictures on both sides. So, we usually do one side at a time. First, match pictures on the left to their beginning sounds and then match pictures on the right to their beginning sounds.
The second group is ckehrmd.
The group 3 Jolly Phonics sounds are goulfb.
