Sight words are words that appear frequently when reading a paragraph or a book. Most of these words do not follow the rules of spelling. Therefore, kids have to memorize these words because decoding them is difficult. This sight word sentences booklet that I will be sharing today is ideal for kindergarten kids for practicing reading simple sentences with sight words.
The sheets are in letter paper format and the book is pretty easy to assemble. Just keep the cover page in the front and the rest can be arranged as per your preference.
Eleven sight words are covered in this booklet.
I have kept the sentences simple and the fonts big.
I have tried to use mostly decodable words in the sentences.
Wherever there is a longer word that can be difficult for kids to read, the picture will help the child know what the word is.
These booklets can be done in a classroom setting or can also be given as homework.
You can complement this booklet with ‘build the sight word’ activity.
This booklet is free for subscribers to download.
