all words worksheet
When ‘a’ is followed by ‘l,’ its sound changes. Hear the all sound in words like ball, call, ball, mall, tall, small, stall, squall, fall, gall, hall, wall, etc. In this post, I will be sharing ‘all sound words‘ in the form of a book. This book is suitable for first-grade children. I will also be sharing worksheets with all words.
The ‘all sound’ needs to be studied separately because words like ball, call, hall, fall, etc. appear very often while reading books.
Circle the pictures with ‘all sound’ on page 2. The pictures are mall, hall, call, jail, wall, bag, fall, and small. On page 3, write ‘all’ and the words will ‘all sound.’
The instructions to print are mentioned in the book. This book requires only 2 sheets to form an A5 size (approximately) book. The sheets will be printed on both sides. All the pages are numbered so there will not be any confusion.
In case, you have to print on both sides manually, print pages 1 and 8 and pages 6 and 3 first. On the reverse of pages 1 and 8, print pages 2 and 3. On the reverse of pages 6 and 3, print pages 4 and 5.
Since the print will be on both sides, use a thicker sheet.
On the next two pages, children have to frame sentences using the words given. A sentence begins with a capital letter. This rule will help children understand the first word of the sentence. Sentences end with a period or full stop or question mark or exclamation mark. This will make punctuation rules clear and also help children frame sentences. Do not forget to color the pictures.
The last two pages are for writing sentences. Children have to write sentences with ‘all words’ whose pictures have been provided. The ‘all words’ are the same that the children have traced on page 3.
This book can be covered over a period of three-five days. I usually like to cover this over a period of three days, two pages each day.
My book about all words is free for subscribers to download.
I am sharing another ‘all sound words’ resource with you. Read the words in the above worksheet and highlight the ‘all sound.’
In the next worksheet, read the words in the word bank, identify the pictures, and write the words next to the correct picture.
In the last cut and paste worksheet, identify the pictures, and complete the words by pasting the correct letter tile. The words are mall, fall, call, wall, stall, and small.
This Pack is free for subscribers to download.
